The Tabor Reception House is a structure located in Colle Gelsomino, behind the Vatican City State, and is run by the Sisters of the SS. Douloureuse Mère du Tiers Ordre Régulier de Saint François d’Assise, who for many years have been providing a welcome service to pilgrims, both individuals and groups, who wish to enjoy a spiritual experience and admire the artistic and religious heritage that characterises the city.
The house has 21 rooms, divided into single, double, twin and 3-bed rooms, plus a room for the disabled.

Our establishment does not have a shuttle service. It is possible to contact a transfer company we work with to organise transfers to and from airports, train stations and city centres.
The Tabor Reception House has a large free covered car park reserved for its guests.
Check-in is from 13:30 to 22:00 and check-out is no later than 11:00.
Any other requirements can be notified to our staff.
Breakfast is available from 7.30am to 9.30am in the breakfast room on floor 0.
Our reception is open from 07:00 to midnight.
Payments can be made by cash, credit card or debit card.
We do not accept American Express.
The Tabor Reception House has an individual room with services dedicated to people with reduced mobility.
Smoking is absolutely forbidden in all our rooms and in any part of the house.
Casa di Accoglienza Tabor offers a sweet and savoury buffet breakfast. It includes bread, cold meats and cheeses, jams, snacks with Nutella, rusks, biscuits and various types of hot drinks (coffee, cappuccino, milk, tea) and fruit juices.
Our staff are available to meet your needs, just make a request when you book and we will be delighted to welcome you.
Our house has a free Wi-Fi service for guests.
The tourist tax, equal to 6.00 euros per person per day, is not included in our rate.
At the disposal of our customers, we have a space dedicated to the free storage of luggage for storage before check-in time and after check-out time.
We do not have a catering service, only a breakfast service. Our staff will be happy to give you useful advice on where to eat.
To get to Piazza San Pietro, you can take bus no. 46 for two stops and get off at Cavalleggeri/San Pietro or you can take bus no. 49 for four stops and get off at Crescenzio/Risorgimento.
St Peter’s Square can also be reached on foot in around 20 minutes along Via Aurelia.
Yes, there is a bus stop (no. 46 and no. 49) about 2 minutes’ walk from the entrance to our house, which will take you to the city centre in less than 30 minutes. The nearest metro station (line A) is Valle Aurelia, about a kilometre’s walk from our house.
Yes, all our rooms have a private bathroom.
No, you don’t need to bring your own bed linen and towels. All our rooms have a hairdryer in the bathroom.
For safety reasons, no household appliances of any kind may be used in the rooms.
Yes, all our rooms have televisions.
